My name is Dave Holmes, and my wife Jill and I have been called to the mission field specifically in the field of aviation. Why aviation? The Bible says to go to the ends of the earth to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. The problem is, sometimes the ends of the earth are hard to reach. Missionary pilots help bridge this gap by providing transportation, cargo, medical help, and God's love to some of the hardest to reach places.
We are missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) and have been assigned to serve in Mozambique, Africa. We are currently in the final stages of training and building our financial and prayer support team. We are planning to leave for Mozambique in December 2011 or January 2012.
